A GardenComm member since 2006, she lives in Maryland (region 2) and creates content about small-space gardening, urban/city gardening, and groundcovers in her region.

Kathy just developed a new talk on "Elevating Your Garden with Unusual Bulbs, Rhizomes, and Tubers" to share her love of lesser-known bulbs that do well in the mid-Atlantic throughout the calendar year. She loves forcing bulbs and teaches that method during the new program.

The networking and connections are the main reasons why Kathy is a member. “Thanks to GardenComm,” she says, “I have two new books published, an endless source of podcast guests, and colleagues to bounce ideas off of in the power circles.”

Where does Kathy get her inspiration for all of this content? She says she is inspired by “speakers who are able to connect emotionally with their audiences like C.L. Fornari.”
