Anne Reeves
Anne Reeves, a Region 6 member of GardenComm since 2017! Anne is an author, photographer, blogger, and speaker from the Evergreen State of Washington.
With content focused on finding delight, Anne shares ideas and Inspiration to enhance everyday life. She explains how visual images, tasty treats, and simple storytelling can enhance the human experience. Anne does this by sharing the impact of flowers and the satisfaction of collecting roses, hydrangeas, and every color of nasturtium. "I'm driven to point out the beauty of everyday life, which almost always includes color and flowers."

Recently Anne was challenged to modernize the idea of the May Day basket. So she wrote about transforming a new seed packet into a darling mailable expression of spring. Want to know how she did it? She said all you have to do is "Just tape a length of ribbon to hang it from, glue on sequins or paper bees and send a message of love to arrive on May Day." The seeds can be planted, or the packet can remain intact as an art piece – either way, Anne says, the warm feeling will last well into summer!
When asked why she remains a GardenComm member, Anne replied, "The members of GardenComm are like oxygen to me. As with most of us, I only see the members in person now and then, but when I do, they all seem to try to help and encourage me as much as they possibly can in our short time together." She says she is so grateful for the mentoring from her fellow members. Which then inspires her to do the same. "We can all share nuggets of help/direction/truth to inspire our colleagues." Says Anne.
