Lance Walheim

Lance Walheim has been a GardenComm member on and off for forty years! In those years, he has enjoyed the opportunity it provides to make contact with great people and to keep in touch with old friends.

Hailing from Oregon, Lance has been a speaker, TV/radio expert, and a writer. He also is an instructor for master gardeners in his region.

Citrus has been a life-long focus for Lance, and he’s currently in the process of revising out-of-print books on the subject. Besides citrus, he also has an interest in general horticulture, including fruit, roses, lawns, pest control, water conservation, food gardening, and California-specific gardening.

On the home front, Lance says, “I have recently sold my 17-acre specialty citrus ranch in Exeter, CA, and moved to Portland to be closer to grandkids.” He says his pet project is Walheim Ranch Bergamot Gin.
